Framing Your Cage

AXIOM SPORTS recommends placing frame sections every 8 - 16 feet of cage length depending on netting twine size to reduce sagging and provide maximum stability for your batting cage. The use of less supports increases the risk that storms and strong winds will damage your installation.

It is also important to bury a sufficient amount of framing into the ground and secured by cement to provide stability for your installation. Hence, AXIOM SPORTS provide an extra two feet of heighth in each frame section (i.e., the 12' X 12' frame section is actually 12' wide and 14' high). Secure 2' 3" of framing into the ground before hanging your net.
